The young Englishwoman has completed 13 of the 14 8000m summits. She has had a passion for mountaineering from an early age, thanks in no small part to her father, who passed on his love of the mountains to her. The final 8000m (Shishapangma - 8027m) is due to be climbed by Adriana in 2024. She would then become the youngest person to complete all 14 8000m.
From an early age she knew she was cut out for it. The young Londoner climbed the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc in 2 and a half days, aged just 18.
Adriana is an example of determination: it just goes to show that you have to believe in your childhood dreams.
