Extra batteries for heated gloves
The Ultra Heat Boost GL5200 Kit provides an extra set of batteries for heated gloves and mittens from the Ultra Heat Boost range.
It’s a handy solution for extending heating sessions or having a second set of fully-charged batteries ready before a long day’s skiing.
A capacity of 5,200 mAh
With a capacity of 5,200 mAh, these batteries are more powerful than the previous generations used in Therm-ic heated gloves.
They have been developed specifically to work with the new Ultra Heat Boost heating elements, whose power has been increased by 1.5 W to enhance the sensation of warmth.
Faster recharging
Despite their higher capacity, the GL5200 batteries have a shorter recharging time. It takes around 5 hours 30 minutes to fully recharge them, compared with around 8 hours for the older batteries.
Battery life tailored to different heat settings
Depending on the heat setting selected, the 5,200 mAh batteries offer up to:
- 10 hours on setting 1;
- 5 hours on level 2;
- 3 hours on level 3, at maximum power.
Compatible with Ultra Heat Boost
The kit is specifically designed for the Ultra Heat Boost Gloves and Ultra Heat Boost Mittens. It is therefore not a universal battery kit compatible with all Therm-ic heated gloves.

To prolong the life of the batteries as much as possible, we recommend that you store them in a cool place (5°C to 20°C), after half-charging them. During storage, the batteries must not be connected to either the glove or the USB charger.
