WHY & HOW IS S.E.T© TECHNOLOGY A GAME CHANGER FOR HEATED SKI SOCKS?

Feet and skiers are a classic love-hate relationship! Cold, frozen feet, pressure points, contractures, blisters, rubbing, etc. Just some of the aches and pains that usually mark your skiing days. Heated socks are the most suitable option for solving them. Until now, however, heated socks could be unreliable, inefficient and inconsistent in terms of the heat delivered to feet. This observation led to the creation of our S.E.T© technology.

This totally revolutionary innovation, patented and developed by our Research & Development department, aims to warm your feet in an enveloping, even way. Why is it a game changer? Because heat is spread all over the entire foot, unlike other designs, where it is confined to certain very specific heating points.

How does this Therm-ic technology work? By replacing these very specific heating points with a thin line measuring just 2 mm, which is discreetly integrated into the sock. This imperceptible subtle band of heat wraps all around your feet, without leaving out a single mm2 of your skin.

- The totally revolutionary S.E.T© technology detailed earlier in this article, which offers an even heating system that envelops the whole foot.

- Breathability, because the key to keeping your feet warm lies in managing perspiration! To this end, we have used Moisture-Vent Technology, a sock construction in the form of macro-channels that guide perspiration towards the arch of the foot to better wick away moisture.

- The incomparable softness of the famous merino wool. Doubly renowned for its breathability and softness, merino wool offers welcome comfort like a caress on the foot. This natural fibre also has the superpower of absorbing 33% of its weight in moisture without appearing wet. ULTRA WARM COMFORT S.E.T© is made from 50% merino wool: an extremely high amount compared to the competition, which speaks volumes about the comfort on offer.

HOW DO OUR NEW HEATED SKI SOCKS WORK?

Therm-ic heated socks work in a very simple and intuitive way, thanks to small, very light and almost imperceptible batteries positioned at the back of the socks.

The power of the heat distributed is then adjusted according to three heating levels, from a dedicated app on your smartphone, as some of these batteries are Bluetooth-compatible.

These heated ski socks are compatible with all our batteries – S-Pack 700, S-Pack 700B (Bluetooth), S-Pack 1200 and S-Pack 1400B (Bluetooth). Whether these batteries are new or second-hand batteries.
