THERM-IC HEAT CONTROL APPLICATION

Please find enclosed the confidentiality rules for the Therm-ic Heat Control application. We are committed to keeping you informed of the information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.


DATA RETENTION, STORAGE, AND DELETION

As part of the operation of the application, we apply a strict data minimization policy.

1. Mandatory Technical Data

To ensure the stability, maintenance, and proper functioning of the application, the app exclusively uses Firebase Crashlytics provided by Google Firebase.

This service only collects anonymous technical information related to the operation of the application, including:

  • crash reports;
  • technical error logs;
  • performance diagnostic information.

This data is used solely to identify, analyze, and fix potential technical issues.

No personal data, user content, browsing data, or information that could directly identify a user is collected, transmitted, or stored through this service.

Technical diagnostic data transmitted through Firebase Crashlytics is retained for a maximum period of 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted in accordance with the service’s technical retention policies.

2. Data Stored Remotely

We expressly emphasize that:

No user data is hosted, backed up, or synchronized on remote servers.

No user account information, personal data, documents, user preferences, or user-generated content is transmitted to our servers or to third-party services.

The only external communication performed by the application consists of anonymous technical crash reports sent through Firebase Crashlytics solely for maintenance and application stability purposes.

3. Data Stored Locally on the Device

All other data used by the application (including settings, preferences, operational data, or locally generated content) is stored exclusively on the user’s device.

This data:

  • is not synchronized with any remote server;
  • is not shared with third parties;
  • is not externally backed up.

4. Data Deletion

Users retain full control over the data stored locally on their device.

Uninstalling the application permanently deletes all local data associated with the application from the user’s device.

Any anonymous technical crash data that may be transmitted to Firebase Crashlytics is automatically deleted after the maximum retention period of 90 days.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

• The application is currently free and does not require you to login (username/password) to use it. We do not ask for any personal information.
• The application is connected to the therm-ic batteries via bluetooth, and informs the consumer if they are indeed connected to the heating products. This information is intended only to inform the consumer if the batteries are working properly. None of this information is stored or used.


GPS:
• When the app is opened, it asks you to activate your GPS. This is simply for the purpose of displaying your current location and temperature of your location within the application. None of this information is stored or used.


CAMERA:
• It is possible to take a picture when customising products. This picture will not be stored or used afterwards.


CHANGES:
• These Confidentiality Rules may be changed. The installation and use of the application constitutes acceptance of these rules without restriction. Any changes to the confidentiality rules will be published on this page.
